We spent our final nights at The St Regis Singapore 5 Star luxury hotel located on Orchard Road and what a way to end our short trip. Everything about St Regis is grand and I felt incredibly lucky to stay at this wonderful hotel which makes it all too difficult to leave the room! The climate in Singapore was rather humid and I couldn’t help but spend a couple more hours in an air conditioned room, snacking on Asian sweets and crisps in front of the telly. My sister had a few appointments which meant a lil bit of Home Alone experience in a foreign country hotel room – with all the hours in the world I ran a nice hot bath in their marble tiled bathroom that’s complete with 2 shower cubicles, 2 dressing tables and a gorgeous bath tub as centre piece. Again what a shame that I didn’t bring my bikini/swim suit to this trip to jump into their tropical spa pool on their ground floor for members/guests only.
The room we stayed in is the Executive Deluxe Room: it has free wifi, pool side view and butler service, as well as a King size bed with St Regis signature linens. Charming bay window view/seating although with many hotels around that are higher, I was concerned about privacy for those looking down into our rooms. After staying at The Westin and St Regis Singapore, you might wonder which I prefer! Both very different but both part of Starwood Group, purely for the amazing views and the infinity pool I preferred The Westin hotel – you can read my review here.
