Ten Health and Fitness studio has been one of my earliest favourites on ClassPass with 6 studio locations in London. Their Mayfair studio (nearest station is Oxford Circus) is the most convenient one for me and perhaps the most popular studio of the 6 ( St James, Chiswick, City, Notting Hill and Hatton Garden). Reformers takes on traditional pilates with intense and demanding full body workouts that sculpts your figure, builds lean, toned muscles, as well as strengthening your core and challenge your balance/stability.
When I come to Ten Health & Fitness in Mayfair, I want to work on my flexibility, core strength and train for a leaner body. The class can be tailored as the trainer asks around what is it that we want to work on. Beginners classes are usually full so be prepared to book in as advanced as you can and if you feel like you are ready for the next level; their intermediate classes are smaller – if you are lucky enough and no-one else turns up it can be a personal training session! Their classes are generally £17 a pop so it’s well worth maxing your monthly sessions and get a good sweat out of it. I have been to Julia’s class many times and she really makes me sweat and pushes me real hard which is what I need! Their boutique studio is well facilitated with water dispenser, showers and towels!
