Stunning views across the river thames where we saw 50 hot air balloons hover across the London skies. Bang on at 5am we chased the hot air balloons in the direction that they were heading on a clear blue Sunday morning. All 50 balloons took off from Burgess Park in south London which headed towards Tower Bridge and meeting the final grounds at Romford. Before we knew it – it was all over from where we were at the River Thames – it was well worth waking up at 2.30am; get the night bus to London Bridge for 4.30am on Sunday! Yawn!!! Until next year 2017…just don’t rain on us.
