Last week I received the microdelivery peel kit by Philosophy; a two step in-home face exfoliation crystal scrub and rejuvenating gel for sun-damaged, hyper-pigmented and ageing skin. This couldn’t have arrived at a better time as I have only just got back from a sunny holiday. I couldn’t wait to use this and write up my microdelivery peel review for you all.
First up; I applied a generous amount of the scrub all across my face (the instructions did say a teaspoon but I felt that my face needed more than that). I avoided scrubbing when applying; a soft massage across the face with the help of crystals will dig deep to exfoliate all that dead skin around my face. I felt a slight tingle but that’s the scrub doing the work already. The scrub smells lemony; a refreshing scent whilst I let the scrub set for 60 seconds.
Next step, I applied a teaspoon amount of the activating gel across my face; again only massaging this in gently. The gel will start to foam and I left that to set for another 3 minutes! Well that was easy!!
After 3 minutes; I washed the scrub and foam off my face with lukewarm water and the effects were immediate. My skin felt incredibly smooth, soft and resurfaced…as promised! The microdelivery peel kit retails at £59.50 at John Lewis (with free delivery in 5 working days) which I think is a fair deal for a 2 piece kit. This is something you will need to try to believe; it’s so easy to use; very quick to apply and doesn’t take a lot of room in my bathroom! I think I am going to have exfoliating Sundays
