The much anticipated Disclosure tour dates went live on Friday and only a matter of minutes dates were sold out! A work colleague of mine have been dying to see them for the last 5 years and managed to bag himself a ticket! Bless him; we’ve decided to go as a group (girls started telling other girls to go which eventually meant he’s the only boy in the group) for the 1st of December and we cannot wait! I only know a handful of tunes that were commercially charted such as Latch ft Sam Smith and White Noise so I better start listening to Disclosure’s latest album on youtube!
Disclosure is an English electronic band that makes up of two brothers; Howard and Guy Lawrence both born in Reigate, Surrey. I first heard of them when they released their first UK hit “Latch” which featured the unknown Sam Smith at the time. When I first heard that tune I thought it was Sam Sparro ( who sang Black and Gold) but I’ve always thought there was a little similarity between the two tunes. But anyways; I loved that tune and if you’ve not heard it; have a listen below:
Their second album Caracal is out this year which features vocals from Sam Smith, Miguel, Lorde, The Weeknd, Gregory Porter and more. The whole album consists of sequential tracks that follow an interconnected storyline. As it is Sunday; I am really feeling their 11th track in the album called Masterpiece – just the vibe I need for a Sunday – chilled and relaxing.
