My lovely sister Style Slicker went to a Weekend break with my other sister (jealous) and came back with gifts ^__^ I love gifts and gave me these lovely Smashbox range. I have never used smashbox before but I have heard all about it. I can see why she gave it to me, she’s not much of a pink fan and I guess it fits under my age bracket more Image may be NSFW.

I love how natural it looks with a tint glow of pink.

So what were the goodies?

Pop of Pink Blusher for cheeks – I must admit, I don’t own a blush powder at all! I am quite lucky to have visible cheek bones and so my face isn’t as round. Also, my main reason is that… I can never get it right and end up with too much pink on my cheeks which then looks like I have been punched in the face. But after my first nervous try, I am please with the colour; very subtle and natural tint.

Full Exposure Smashbox Mascara – It is a very thick brush as you can see, but what’s so great is that it adds so much volume and highlights my lashes in jet black. The brush coats up a lot which then applies thick. Great for me as I don’t have much eye lashes. Retails: £18

Posy Smashbox Pink Lipstick – blush pink colour; however my sister insists that my skin shade is too dark for this colour. I on the other hand love the colour, but I guess I agree with her to a certain extent. blush pink lipsticks – I shall wait til the tan fades! Retail – £15.50

Reflection High Shine Smashbox Lip Gloss – long tube, easy to find in the handbag at least! My worst fear factor is when you accidently squeeze to hard and darn..everything spills and gets a little chaotic with the tissue! I like the consistency but a little thick I’d say. But no lipstick is as good without a bit of gloss. Retail – £15

I am so glad I exfoliated my face the night before; I had a rather flaky day yesterday. I am so glad with the hint of blush which highlights very subtly and then top it off with lip shine. This collection is called Smashbox Pop of Pink all for £35 which isn’t bad considering the value for each piece.

Have you tried Smashbox before? I would to hear your thoughts.

May xx
