I had the pleasure to watch Circolombia’s debut night of Acelere circus production show at Roundhouse today. Inspired by Colombia’s diverse communities Acelere features 12 of the most talented performers from across Colombia, mixing spectacular circus with dance and an original soundtrack. Lianna, the vocal of the night was amazing; her voice and her up beat tracks were so addictive you just want to get up and dance. Not only were these fab 12 amazing acrobats, but are fantastic dancers too. Really need to steal some of their moves…latin style!
All of the artists trained and graduated at the National School of Circo Para Todos (“Circus For All”) that supports the most vulnerable, at risk young people in Colombia through circus training. The young company includes some of the most revered circus performers in the world. They’ve been on an incredible journey to be part of an even more incredible company.
Tickets for the Circolombia show range from £15 – £30 (depending on seat location and day of the week), luckily…I know a friend who asked me to be his plus one…thanks Alexis ^^ (as thanks, I paid for his dinner at the bar…courtesy of his 25% discount on top hehehe)
