This is the second time I’ve been to Bunnychow in the same week I loved the first time I suggested to come here again for a team work breakfast. Thankfully; I stumbled across a section on their website where they are looking for focus groups and in return we dine for free! Who doesn’t like a freebie; but there was a catch! I had to write an email to convince them why we should be their focus group! Well; we were a team of 6 all with different backgrounds so what better focus group than a bunch of 6 different nationalities under the Bunnychow roof. So from Monday to Thursday; there I was again and I get to try something else on the menu! On Monday I tried the famous Full English Bunny, so instead I opted the vegetarian Bunny: eggs, mushrooms, tomatoes, spinach, halloumi, something spicey at the bottom with brioche bunny (bread). Strangely enough; I actually preferred the vegetarian option than the FEB (full english bunny); I love my meaty breakfast so this was a first to enjoy my non meaty brekkie.
Their drinks were fantastic as always; I’ve managed to try 3 of theirs to date ( Green mamba, north beach and madiba’s) and my favourite is the north beach mocktail which includes: coconut water, coconut cream, banana, lime and lemon. When I come here after work on a Thursday or Friday; I will be adding alcohol with that
We also sampled the warm “samp” – the picture at the top with nuts, sultanas with milky custard like consistency pudding…how else am I going to explain it! It’s a tasty alternative than porridge because I hate the consistency of porridge and the samp offers the morning goodness which is sweet; warm and delightful.
The focus group was fun; we gave a lot of feedback about the level of spiciness; size portions, saw it as a treat and that we would be happy to pay more than £5 for it. Lastly, they are trialling out these bunny badges where they will give you a 10% (or did he say 20%?!) discount off your order for life which is awesome!!!
