When I first saw this I thought what is this futuristic looking duo bottle that looks like it’s come out of a science lab! Elemis introduces their Biotec skin energising skincare range; skin activating creams to energise, revive, replenish and hydrate the skin. Quote, “Scientifically proven to help increase cell energy, this day cream harnesses the patent-pending BIO-ENERGY complex of encapsulated Zinc and Copper.” Well that’s what it says on the bottle but how does it feel when put to the test? It’s intensely moisturising and can feel that my skin is immediately soft and super well hydrated. I’m all about hydration and is perfect for my combo of oily T-zone and normal skin. I am a strong believer in switching up my creams now and again as I feel that my skin reacts best when applying a “new potent formula” shall I say. The day cream and night cream comes at a hefty price tag at £75 and £85 respectively. In my opinion I think that’s really expensive for what it is if I am going to be honest with you. I know it’s new, shiny and looks super cool; I agree that the cream makes me feel amazing but it’s not something I would invest in personally. These bottles are hand me downs from my sister as she has gone all eco-friendly so yay for me. I hope she isn’t reading this but when she first had them; I’ve been sneaking in her room to apply them almost everyday
